Asparagus Fries

Asparagus Fries

  • 1 1/2 pounds asparagus
  • 1/2 cup all purpose gf flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 3/4 cup gf panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Combine panko, Parmesan, garlic, onion, and salt and pepper on a plate. On another plate mix gf flour with salt and pepper. In a shallow bowl add the beaten eggs.

    Dredge the asparagus in the flour, dip in the egg and then into the mixture of panko, parmesan, salt and pepper.

    Place the asparagus in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated 425 oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
